PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-running type monorail toy which is rich in amusement, and in addition, the structure of which is simple. SOLUTION: This monorail toy is equipped with a rail, a rail supporting member which supports the rail, and a vehicle which is supported by the rail. Then, a motor and running wheels which are rotate-driven by the motor are incorporated in the vehicle. The monorail toy is constituted in such a manner that the vehicle runs along the rail when the running wheels rotate on the rail. In addition, the running wheels are constituted in a manner to elastically come into contact with a section which extends in the horizontal direction on the rail, from the direction of the vehicle.
