PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scoring device for a pachinko machine which can significantly reduce accidental entry of pachinko balls more than predetermined specified number thereof into scoring devices. SOLUTION: In a scoring device A which has a ball inlet 20 formed in a mounting board 16 on the surface of a playing board 10 and an open-close door 24 openably pivoted at the ball inlet 20, the open-close door 24 comprises an upper half plate part 24a which is formed above a shaft part 25 thereof to open or close the ball inlet 20 and a lower half part 24b which is formed below the shaft part 25 to guide pachinko balls B1 received into the ball inlet 20. The shaft part 25 is so constructed at a lower rim part of the ball inlet 24 that the upper half plate part 24a is rolled behind the ball inlet 20 on the shaft part 25 to open the ball inlet 20 while the lower half plate part 24b is rolled forward and the upper half plate part 24a is rolled forward on the shaft part 25 to close the ball inlet 20.
