PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a following property of a seat body to a backrest of a synchronous chair which tilts and moves the seat body backward by interlocking the seat body with the backrest. SOLUTION: A seat receiver 2, middle-supporting body 3, and a back- supporting frame 6 are connected by a first - a third supporting shafts 7-9, and the first shaft 7 sliding in a slot 10 causes the seat body 4 to make synchronous movements with the back-supporting frame 6. The seat body 4 is mounted on the middle-supporting body 3 in a manner that it can slide back and forth. An upper end of a link body 48 fitted on the first shaft 7 joins in an engaging groove 52 on the seat body 4, and a lower end of the link body 48 is fitted in a guide groove 50 formed on a lower catching body 38. Tilting the link body 48 backward caused by the back-supporting frame 6 tilting backward causes the seat body 4 to move backward relatively to the middle-supporting body 3.
