PURPOSE: A remote control system for a washer and a communication method therefor are provided to control the washer in the outside and remotely perform various functions. CONSTITUTION: A home PC(20) connects to a washer(10) for requesting an SN(Serial Number) of the washer(10), storing the SN of the washer(10), and checking on/off of the washer(10). If the SN of the washer(10) of the washer(10) does not exist in the washer(10) or the home PC(20), a server(30) generates the SN, provides the SN to the home PC(20), and remotely controls the washer(10) according to the SN and the on/off of the washer(10). |
