PURPOSE: A satellite signal receiving device is provided to carry out the antenna connection switching according to a satellite signal level and a relay signal level for restraining the disconnection of the satellite signal for securing the optimum satellite signal output always. CONSTITUTION: A satellite signal receiving device includes a satellite signal receiving unit(10) including an antenna part for directly receiving satellite signals transmitted from a satellite, a relay signal receiving unit(20) for receiving relay signals transmitted from a relay which receives the satellite signals, satellite and relay signal level detecting parts(12,22) for respectively detecting a satellite signal level and a relay signal level respectively received by the satellite signal receiving unit and the relay signal receiving unit, a control part(30) for comparing the detected satellite and relay signal levels to each other for the switching control of the satellite or relay signals, and an antenna connection switching part(40) for switching the antenna connection with respect to the satellite signals and the relay signals according to a switching control signal output from the control part to output either of the signals to be output from a signal output part(60) via a set-top box(50).
