APPARATUS FOR BREAKING SCUM AND FOAM

PURPOSE: An apparatus to break scum and foam generated from water and sewage treatment facility automatically is provided. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for breaking scum and foam comprises a scum collecting device(100) which is horizontally installed at a water tank(10) to collect scum together with small amount of water; a scum breaking device(200) for breaking scum by injection of high pressure water from upper part. The scum breaking device(200) further comprises a cylindrical body(210) for receiving scum; a shaft(220) installed at the center of the cylindrical body; plural rotation plates(230) which is drivingly installed at the shaft and on the surface of which many holes(232) are formed; a plural propeller blades(240) which are formed on the upper of the rotation plates to rotate by scum-laden water; and plural nozzles(250) which are installed at the upper of the cylindrical body to spray high compressed water toward scum.
