PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an individual information management service method and a device therefor, using a physically or electronically represented image code. SOLUTION: This individual information management service method includes a stage, in which a sender converts his/her own individual information into a code image and displays the code image on an individual information medium, a stage in which a receiver possesses a local database for storing and managing individual information about a person managed by the receiver himself, a stage in which the receiver is provided with the individual information medium of the sender and restores the code image represented on the individual information medium of the sender as the individual information of the sender, and a stage in which the receiver restores an image as original individual information, by using an optical device, etc., for storing the restored image in the local database that plays a role of his own 'stack of business cards' and meanwhile registers the restored image in a server, when the sender displays the individual information in the form of the image and transmits the individual information to the receiver. Thus, many pieces of individual information are stored conveniently, and various services are provided by using the individual information.
