摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of decreasing facility efficiency of a power conditioner and to prevent a decrease of charging efficiency of a lead storage battery in a multistage constant-current charging method. SOLUTION: The power conditioner 2 constituted of a bidirectional converter is provided between a power receiving bus bar 3 and the lead storage battery 1. A controller 5 prevents the charging in the region where the sealing reaction efficiency is low by making the storage battery capacity be less than 90% of the usual charging and avoiding the full charging when the battery is charged. A control current capacity which is necessary for the power conditioner is reduced by restricting the charging current and the early deterioration of the storage battery is prevented by full charging in an adequate time, once in 2-3 months. By carrying out the discharge of the lead storage battery when the condition is satisfied in the storage battery capacity, the storage battery voltage and the used electric power, the cycle life time of the storage battery is improved, the over discharge can be prevented and in addition, the operation efficiency of the power conditioner is improved.
