<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card edge connector and a terminal metal capable of ensuring reliability in contact between a circuit board and the terminal metal. SOLUTION: For the terminal metal 20, its motion in the direction parting from the circuit board 42 is restricted by the locking action of a locking part 27 against the circuit board 42, as well as its motion in the direction approaching the circuit board 42 is restricted by an elastic force of a flexible contact piece 25 flexibly contacting the circuit board 42. Accordingly, since the positional relations between the terminal metal 20 and the circuit board 42 are constantly maintained by a motion restricting means 29 comprising the locking part 27 and the flexible contact piece 25, the flexible contact piece 25 achieves a proper flexible deflection to ensure reliability in contact between the terminal metal 20 and the circuit board 42.</p> |
