SUBSTANCE: the described element protects documents such as a bank note, identification card, etc. against forgery, it consists of a transparent polymeric backing that has a non- transparent layer with cut-outs visible by a light check in the form of signs, patterns, etc. In addition, the protective element has a magnetic layer in the form of magnetic sections being apart from one another, forming a code. Cut-outs visible by a light check are located on the code intermediate sections that are not coated with the magnetic layer.
