HORIZONTAL CENTRIFUGAL SEPARATOR FOR SLUDGE THICKENING

PURPOSE: A horizontal centrifugal separator for sludge thickening is provided to separate water from sludge generated from sewage treatment plants at low cost. CONSTITUTION: The horizontal centrifugal separator for sludge thickening comprises a cylindrical separation part (A) and dewater part (B) including an outer moving ball(11) having inside wall of groove of gilled pattern, an inner moving screw conveyor horizontally formed at the inner center of the outer moving ball(11) and a helical baffle plate(27) fixed around the inner moving screw conveyor and having shaft of gradually reduced diameter at compaction dewater part (B); a rotary round plate(19) formed perpendicularly at the baffle plate(27) positioned at the interface of separation part (A) and dewater part (B) and having a diameter smaller than that of the baffle plate(27); a compaction groove formed symmetrically at the both sides of rotary round plate(19) and having a diameter smaller than that of the baffle plate(27); a compaction helical plate(20) having twisted angle from the upper most part of baffle plate(27) and engaged with the upper part of the baffle plate(27).
