PURPOSE: A circuit for controlling a constant current of pulse width modulation is provided to reduce the power consumption by stopping the power supply for a section in which data signal output is not carried out and for a screen part not in use by dividing a screen. CONSTITUTION: A circuit for controlling a constant current of pulse width modulation includes a storing part(11) storing an image signal, a signal processing part(13) to be applied with the image signal from the storing part and transmitting the image signal to a counter(12), a comparator(14) and a bias control part(20) respectively, the counter for outputting a reference timing signal for the output of a pulse width modulated signal in response to the image signal from the signal processing part, the comparator for outputting the pulse width modulated image signal in response to the image signal from the signal processing part and the reference timing signal from the counter, the bias control part for applying a bias on/off control signal in response to the image signal from the signal processing part, a bias supply part(16) for supplying a bias for an on-section for the bias on control signal output, and an output converting part(15) for controlling the size of a current and a voltage of the pulse width modulated signal applied from the comparator in response to the bias of the on-section, and outputting the pulse width modulated data signal of the on-section.
