PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image compositing device that attains video expression resulting from a video image photographed outdoor by which a locus or the like of the motion of a moving object can easily be grasped. SOLUTION: The image compositing device comprises a photographing camera 10 for photographing a background and an photographing object, a plurality of depth detection cameras 21-24 placed at positions different from the photographing camera 10, and an image processing unit 30 that generates depth information of the photographing object on the basis of video images photographed by the depth detection cameras 21-24, calculates a silhouette of the object converted into a field angle of the photographing camera 10 by using the depth information, segments of an image of the object from the image of the background configuring the video image photographed by the photographing camera 10 by using the silhouette as a key signal, and superimposes the image of the object segmented from the video image photographed by the photographing camera 10 on the background image and displays the result. |
