PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly execute automatic adjustment of image quality in the case that automatic adjustment for a plurality of image qualities is available. SOLUTION: The setting of a CPU 150 of a personal computer PC is carried out by a printer driver for controlling the printing by a color printer 20, and the CPU 150 acquires the printing condition stored in a RAM 151. The CPU 150 retrieves the preset printing condition and judges whether or not the automatic image quality adjustment by the printer driver is on. If the automatic image quality adjustment is judged to be on, the CPU 150 judges whether or not the image processing application being executed requires automatic image quality adjustment. If the automatic image quality adjustment is judged to be requested, the CPU 150 sends an instruction to turn off the on automatic image quality adjustment to the printer driver. |
