PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the conventional problems that automatic transfer operates only at such a limited place with a PBX(private branch exchange), that transfer is established only in combination with a particular master unit, and that the automatic transfer cannot be applied to diversified movement of a portable terminal. SOLUTION: An automatic transfer system, is composed of a combination of a fixed telephone with a short-distance radio communication function mounted thereon for transmitting its own telephone number, a portable terminal which registers the telephone number of the fixed telephone, and which has a memory of setting the necessity or not of automatic transfer and receives the telephone number of the fixed telephone to collate the telephone number with fixed telephone number information when located within the communicable range of the fixed telephone, and a home base station having a transferring means for performing transfer to the fixed telephone according to an instruction for automatic transfer from the portable telephone. |
