<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine for reducing more the consuming power at the time of energy-saving mode, on the basis of the entry/exit system for managing the entry and exit of persons in an area, in which the facsimile is installed. SOLUTION: The facsimile machine 1 is shifted to an energy-saving mode by stopping the power feeding to each main unit of the facsimile machine 1 at the stand-by time, and the energy save mode is displayed as an output on an LED or the LCD of the display unit 3. At the same time, the energy save mode is released by a prescribed release condition and the power feeding is re-started again. When the entry/exit information signal indicates that there is no person on the floor on which the facsimile is installed, is entered from the entry/exit management system for managing the entry/exit of persons on that floor via an outer system I/F9, the power feeding to the LED or the LCD of the display unit 3 is stopped, and the power consumption is further reduced adequately.</p> |
