摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system which can decelerate at a predictable speed and simultaneously can optimize regeneration of deceleration torque. SOLUTION: A control system for a drive system of an automobile is provided. A controller determines the combination of torque applied by an integral type starter-generator (ISG) and compression torque applied from an engine. By combining the ISG torque with the engine compression torque, desired deceleration torque is obtained. The controller preferentially applies the torque from the ISG to the compression torque, to maximize the regeneration of braking energy.
