PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium that the wobble properties of a user data area and a read-out groove area are formed different. SOLUTION: This optical recording medium has a user data area 120 and a read-out area 130 consisting of grooves 123 and lands 125 including wobbling 135 formed at least on one side of the grooves 123 and is featured in that the wobble properties are different for the read-out area 130 and the user data area 120. By making the wobble properties different, tracking errors of the pickup is prevented in the user data area when reproducing, and reproducing/ recording degradation due to the transmission difference for the first layer can be prevented, by making the condition even over the whole area of the firsts layer of the multiplayer optical recording medium. |
