PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a balun is hardly physically connected to an electronic circuit such as ICs having balanced terminal pairs. SOLUTION: The balun 1 comprises a third tapered conductive layer 13 underlying a substrate 2, having a first end 13a electrically connected to a second end 12b of a second conductive layer 12 provided on the upside of the substrate 2 through a through-hole 14 piercing the substrate 2 and a second end 13b acting as an unbalanced line together with a second terminal 11b of a first conductive layer provided in parallel to the second conductive layer 12.
