<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a packet transfer method, which can realize communication service QoS control and communication network efficiency tantamount to the ones of a communication network composed of wired transmission media, even if the communication network includes wireless transmission media. SOLUTION: If multiple transmission protocols can be utilized at a transmission media, which is determined as a transfer destination, a relay 3 or 4 selects a transmission protocol to be adopted, based on the information included in received packets and the transmission protocol selection information internally set beforehand.</p> |
