PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery box capable of preventing short circuiting of a dry battery by preventing mis insertion of the battery. SOLUTION: In order to prevent the contact of the side surface of the dry battery to be inserted with a terminal, a contact-preventing member acting as a stopper is installed in at least one of a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal. In the case where the contact preventing member is projected to the upper part of the battery box, a hole is installed in a cover, in order to prevent the bumping of the contact preventing member against the cover. By forming the contact-preventing member as a projecting part, installation of the hole in the cover can be make dispensed with. |
