PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable communication machine for withdrawing and accommodating an antenna reliably and safely using one hand. SOLUTION: An antenna 7 is provided, so that it can be expanded and contracted via an antenna expansion/contraction mechanism section 17, a motor 14 is coupled to the antenna expansion/contraction mechanism section 17, the antenna expansion/contraction mechanism section 17 expands or contracts the antenna 7 due to the rotation of the motor 14, and the antenna 7 is withdrawn manually, thus withdrawing or accommodating the antenna 7, due to the operation of the motor 14 and the antenna expansion/contraction mechanism section 17, even without requiring accommodation work.
