PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy requirements by only additionally providing one type of line housing package. SOLUTION: This security system is provided with security terminal devices 20-1 via 20-m, which are respectively connected to a plurality of tenants and connected to a telephone station 30 via a public subscription line, in which an originator number notification is set and have different communication modes of security information, and a center apparatus 10, which is connected to the station 30 via a public subscription line 31 provided with number display service. The apparatus 10 has line housing packages 11-1 through 11-n, having a function of decoding the telephone number of a received number display and having a plurality of communication modes, capable of dealing with all the communication modes of the respective devices 20-1, through 20-m, and a main package 12 for transmitting the security data from the packages 11-1 through 11-n to a host unit.
