NETWORK MANAGEMENT TERMINAL, COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR BACKING UP AND RESTORING SETTING INFORMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technologies by which a network management terminal rewrites backed-up network element(NE) setting information and restores the information which cannot have been executed by conventional technologies capable of only restoring the backed-up NE setting information as it is. SOLUTION: The NE setting information backed up in a storage device of the network management terminal is copied into the storage device of the network management terminal to generate rewritable setting information so that the network management terminal can refer to and modify the setting information. Further, the referenced and modified setting information can be restored to the NE. A mode in which the rewritable setting information copied to the storage device in the network management terminal is referenced and modified from the network management terminal is called a local mode.
