MULTIPOINT CONFERENCE DEVICE BETWEEN DIFFERENT KINDS OF NETWORKS AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A multipoint conference device between different kinds of networks and a method thereof are provided to use standard protocols of components so as to facilitate access and extension to other communication networks, and to use an H.110 bus between a call setup part and a multipoint conference service part so as to secure high-quality voice and multi-channel. CONSTITUTION: A call setup part(202) detects calls from external different kinds of networks for setup, and controls a call flow to set up calls. A multipoint conference service part(207) provides a multipoint conference service for calls between the different kinds of networks set in the call setup part(202). An interface part(206) provides an interface between the call setup part(202) and the multipoint conference service part(207). In the call setup part(202), an event manager(203) detects and analyzes the calls from the external different kinds of networks and processes event signals to control the call flow. A call setup(204) sets up information for real-time transmission, for the calls detected in the event manager(203). And a packet handler(205) analyzes and changes a header of data transmitted through a transmission channel decided in the call setup(204).
