PURPOSE: A method for protecting information using a symmetric key algorithm is provided to prevent data leakage by performing an encryption in a server using a symmetric key algorithm and transmitting the data to a terminal after decoding it in the server. CONSTITUTION: A web browser(202) inputs a URL(Uniform Resource Locator,203), and requests web service information to a web server(201) of a corresponding web site(204). The web server(201) creates the information requested from the web browser(202). The requested information is general contents of HTML, script, and image file format(205). The web server(201) calls an encryption module for coding the created HTML and script file(206). The web server transmits the coded HTML and script file to the web browser(202). The web server(201) decodes the coded HTML and script file using a decoding module, creates a general HTML and script file, and transmits the file to the web browser(202).
