摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode structure for a solid high polymer fuel cell, excellent in ion conductivity with a high polymer electrolyte layer excellent in flexibility. SOLUTION: It is provided a high polymer electrode layer 2 sandwiched by a pair of electrode catalytic layer 1, 1. The high polymer electrode layer 2 is comprises a high-molecular compound of which a plurality of bivalent aromatic residues has a principal chain via other bivalent radicals excepting oxy-radical or an aromatic residue, or with direct coupling, and a sulfurated aromatic radical to a side chain. When X is for the number of the bivalent aromatic residues included in the said principal china, and Y for the number of the oxy-radicals included in the said principal chain, a valued of X/Y is in a range from 2.0 to 9.0. The principal chain of the said high-molecular compound is provided with a first repeating unit indicated in a general equation (1), and a second repeating unit indicated in a general equation (2), and further may be provided with a third repeating unit indicated in a general equation (3).
