PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio LAN system that shares a data transmission assignment time to a slave station in a polling procedure being matched with a present state so as to enhance the entire system throughput. SOLUTION: A transmission time measurement section 11e measures a transmission time being a time required for transmission between a master station 11 and a slave station 13 within an assigned time and a control section 11d stores the measured time into a memory 11f. When the section 11e completes measurement of all slave stations 13, an arithmetic section 11g calculates a usage rate of the data transmission time shared in a unit time being a sum of assigned times of all the slave stations 13 for each slave station 13 and stores the result into a memory 11f as a preceding usage rate. Then data of the preceding usage rate of slave stations #1-#3 are read from the memory 11f and the unit time is divided in proportion to the usage rate of each slave station 13 with respect to the sum of the usage rates of all the slave stations 13 and the assignment time is shared again for each slave station. |
