PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermocompression system, in which productivity can be enhanced by shortening the tact time and the time required for the switching work of the kinds of products. SOLUTION: In the thermocompression system 10, the heights of the bearing faces 15a, 15b and 15c of a cam member 15 are preset appropriately, so that the supporting face 12a of a backup 12 comes at any one of a support position A where the support face 12a abuts against a glass substrate 31 and supporting it, a referential retreat position B separated from the glass substrate 31 or a temporary retreat position C located between the support position A and the reference retreat position B. The bearing face 15c, among the bearing faces 15a, 15b and 15c of the cam member 15, corresponding to the support position A is an inclining face (refer to dotted line in Fig. 1) and movement of the cam member 15 in the horizontal direction is regulated appropriately by a cam member drive section 17, such that the roller 12a of the backup 12 is born at an arbitrary position of the bearing face 15c and the support face 12b of the backup 12 comes at any one of a plurality of support positions, depending on the thickness of the glass substrate 31. |
