PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange reference dictionary data on which levels of importance of keywords are described. SOLUTION: The reference dictionary data are described in the range framed in by <;Dic>; and <;/Dic;> in a markup language such as XML. Data of each item are described in the range framed in by <;Word id='OO'>; and <;/Word>;. In each item, mandatory keywords shown in the range framed in by <;Primary>; and <;/Primary>; and keywords shown in the range framed by <;Secondary>; and <;/Secondary>; better to be added as much as possible, however electric depending on the capacity of recording medium to which the dictionary data are recorded are described together with the category of retrieval. The keywords shown by Secondary can be described in the descending order of importance in order to make selection. Following to keywords, a title of an item is described between <;Title>; and <;Title>; and then the text is described between <;Text>; and <;Text>;.
