PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk cartridge. SOLUTION: The disk cartridge is furnished with a disk D which is an information recording medium, and a case 103 for housing this disk D. At least one centering spring 130 is arranged in this case 103 keeping specified spaces from other centering springs and at the outside of the outer circumference of the disk D for preventing the deviation of this disk D. By restricting the movable space of the disk D in the cartridge 100, the contact distance between a disk clamp and a disk clamp guide is reduced, and the height of disk clamp is reduced by this arrangement. Consequently, the cartridge is made to be thinner, thereby attaining the miniaturization of the cartridge.
