PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic shielding material and its manufacturing method, which has a superior electromagnetic shield property and a conductivity over a wide range, starting from low frequencies to intermediate-high frequencies, and is thin and light in weight and superior in flexibility, such as bending resistance and flexure resistance and wear resistance. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic shield material with a metal-containing resin shield layer formed on one or each side of a fiber cloth has electromagnetic shielding property of shielding of 30 dB or higher for the electric field components of electromagnetic waves at 10 MHz to 1 GHz and a surface resistance of 5Ω/sq or lower. Or, the electromagnetic shield material with the metal- containing resin shield layer formed on one side of the fiber cloth and an adhesive layer formed on the other side of the fiber cloth has electromagnetic shielding property of shielding 30 dB or higher for the electric field components of electromagnetic waves at 10 MHz to 1 GHz, and a surface resistance of 5Ω/sq or lower.
