PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily deal with image data at a low cost. SOLUTION: An original is read by a data input/output device 85, transmitted to a data preserving device 83 (data transmission T1), received by the data preserving device 83 and stored in a storage device 22J. A storage position in the storage device 22J is replied to the data input/output device 85 by the data preserving device 83 (data transmission T2) and the storage position of image data is printed by the data input/output device 85. Thus, the user can obtain a print 90, on which the storage position storing the image data of the image read by the data input/output device 85 is printed, and can extract the image data on a user computer 84 installed at a different place (data transmission T3 and T4).
