PURPOSE: A continuously variable transmission for distributed power is provided to make power input possible without interruption of power during traveling and easily perform shifting, and make shifting possible during stopping. CONSTITUTION: A continuously variable transmission for distributed power comprises a planetary gear unit(2) and a second transmission(12). The planetary gear unit comprises a ring gear(5), a carrier(6), and a sun gear(7) and each constituent selectively applies drive, output, and degree of freedom. In the second transmission, an input shaft(21) has an input gear(13) coupled to the inner side of a casing closed up by both side plates(20) and a gear group(16) is installed between cam-operating gears having a cam mechanism. The tip of each cam mechanism is pinned with a link pinned to a turning mechanism(25) coupled to a one-way clutch installed to an output shaft(23). A link pinned to a shifting-control mechanism turning by an operated lever(26) is coupled to each pin connecting the cam mechanism and the link, and the speed ratio of the output shaft is decided by controlling the turning width of the cam mechanism and the link. The rotational speed of the output of the planetary gear unit is controlled by connecting the constituent with the degree of freedom of the planetary gear unit and the constituent with the output of the input shaft and planetary gear unit of the output shaft of the second transmission by a gear or a chain.
