PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a starting time in the case of intermittent driving is slow due to the propagation distance of the surface acoustic waves of a surface acoustic wave touch panel. SOLUTION: Two pairs of interdigital electrodes are formed on one of two piezoelectric boards faced to a transparent substrate surface, and self-exciting circuit is constituted as a delay line type self-exciting circuit using band pass filter characteristics to be generated due to the two pairs of interdigital electrodes and piezoelectric effects, and surface acoustic waves are received by the other piezoelectric board so that a starting time in the case of intermittent driving can be shortened.
