PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency information device which is small-sized and inexpensive, for transmitting an evidence image in occurrence of emergency. SOLUTION: The emergency information device 10 is provided with an emergency detection part 17, a present position measuring part 18, a photographing device 19 and communication device 21. The photographing device 19 is a simple digital camera. These are installed on a vehicle 11. When door is unlocked by an illegal method such as picking, the emergency detection part 17 generates a detection signal. Based on this detection signal, the photographing device 19 photographs the evidence image. The present position measuring part 18 obtains positional information from a GPS satellite 96. These pieces of information are sent automatically to a monitoring center 13.
