PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of an optical jack. SOLUTION: An optical element 14 is contained in an element holder 20 formed of a metal plate and the optical axis P of the optical element is supported at a positioned matched with the center of a plug insertion hole while fitting the element holder to the rear end of an insulation body 11. Since the element holder is made of a metal plate, the plate thickness can be made thin. Consequently, overall dimensions of the element holder 20 and the insulation body can be reduced in design and an optical jack having a small overall size can be provided. |
