PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor, an information processing method and a program for efficiently embedding character shape information in a document file, and a computer-readable medium for storing the program. SOLUTION: A computer that can access an HD which stores bit-map data of various typestyles detects a typestyle used in a document file (S501), decides whether or not the bit-map data of the detected typestyle are stored in the HD (S502), and reads only the bitmap data of characters existing in the document file from the HD to embed the bit-map data in the document file as character shape data, in the case the bit-map data of the typestyle are decided to be stored in the HD (S504). |
