FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of synthesis of 6-aryl-5-arylazo-3,4-dyhydro-3,4-pyridazinediones of the general formula (I) where Ar1 means phenyl or p-chlorophenyl; Ar2 means phenyl. Indicated compounds are synthesized by interaction of 1-aryl-3-aroyl-4,5-dihydro-4,5-pyrazolediones of the formula (II) where Ar1 and Ar2 have the above-mentioned values with arylsulfonylhydrazines at the room temperature and the following isolation of end products by conventional methods. Method provides synthesis of 6-atyl-5-arylazo-3,4-dyhydro-3,4-pyridazinediones that are potentially biologically active substances. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis, valuable properties of substances.
