PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal magnetic shield for a cathode-ray tube, capable of improving productivity and of reducing a cost by improving assembly strength, by enhancing vibration resistance and by reducing the number of welded points. SOLUTION: This internal magnetic shield for a cathode-ray tube is formed, by jointing at least two or more magnetic shield steel plates 6 and 7 through spot welding. By forming a projecting part 9, having a predetermined shape and disposed adjacent to a welding point 8 of the spot welding on the steel plates 6 and 7, the assembly strength is improved and the magnetic shield for a cathode-ray tube, without causing the separation of a welded part due to vibration can be provided, even if the number of assembling welding points is reduced.
