PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily and accurately transmit a signal for fault-processing completion from an imaging device to a host computer, for fault management in line with the actual situation. SOLUTION: A fault-processing completion signal can be inputted by an input means of a copying machine 1, and the input signal is transmitted by a PHS communication means 2 to the host computer 4 for fault management. Furthermore, a fault-processing completion signal can be inputted from an input means of a host computer for meter inspection at a business office, and the input signal can be inputted to the copying machine 1 via the PHS communication means 2. Then the fault-processing completion signal, inputted from the host computer 3 for meter inspection to the copying machine 1, is sent to the host computer 4 for fault management by the PHS communication means 2. |
