PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost inverter apparatus comprising a current detecting means for detecting a current with high precision. SOLUTION: When voltage drops because a current flows into a current detecting resistor 4, a voltage of node Na is shifted to the positive side with a level shift voltage Vcc2 of a control power source line 27 connected via a serial circuit of resistors 5a, 5b, and a positive voltage Vin of single polarity which is proportional to a current is inputted to an input terminal 32 of an A/D converter 6f from a voltage dividing point Nc. Input voltage range to be converted is narrowed in order to raise effective resolution by applying a voltage Vcc1 which is lower than the level shift voltage Vcc2 across the specifying terminals 30, 31 to specify the input voltage range to be converted of the A/D converter 6f. |
