<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DHCP(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) server which can register a correct host name in a DDNS(Dynamic Domain Name System) even when an IP(Internet Protocol) address assignment request from a terminal does not contain the host name of the terminal or contains an incorrect host name. SOLUTION: For the IP address assignment request from the terminal 111 containing no host name, the host name of the terminal 111 is registered in the DDNS121, by referring to a lookup table with a MAC(Media Access Control) address of the terminal 111 to obtain the host name.</p> |
