PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skinning cubic shape generation method to generate a skinning cubic shape by generating a curved surface with a small number of control points and without having a fine knot interval. SOLUTION: A skinning cubic shape generation method by which a skinning cubic shape is generated by interpolating a plurality of cross sections arranged in space is constituted of following steps: curved lines constituting each of a plurality of cross sections arranged in space are split (S3), a vertex node in corresponding relations between each cross section are found for each split curve (S4), an approximated curved line is generated by approximating of the curved line between the vertex node in a prescribed allowable error range (S5), single interpolated curved surface is generated from a plurality of generated approximated curve (S7), and the skinning cubic shape is generated based on the generated interpolated curved surface (S9). |
