PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a question and answer type authenticating device which reduces the burden on a verifier and can also secure higher security. SOLUTION: The question and answer type authenticating device has a storage means for storing confidential information for authenticating the verifier, a questioning means for questioning the verifier on the basis of the confidential information, an answering means with which the verifier answers the questions, and an authenticating means for authenticating the propriety of an answer inputted from the answering means. The confidential information is composed of a combination of question information and answer information, consisting of two-dimensional images. |
