PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent short circuitings of a battery module caused by an electrolyte, when a holder is inclined in a state that the electrolyte is leaked from the battery module held inside the holder. SOLUTION: A plurality of battery modules 10, each formed by electrically and mechanically connecting a plurality of unit cells 11 in series are held horizontally and three-dimensionally, in a state of being electrically connected in series inside a holder 20 constituted in a rectangular parallelepiped state. A water-absorbing member 30, formed with a water-absorbing polymer sheet, is arranged on a bottom plate 21 of the holder 20, and the electrolyte which leaks from the unit cells is absorbed with the water-absorbing member 30.
