PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To repair and remove flaws by machining the surface of a disk by a machining section at the machining depth meeting the depth of the flaws and to prevent the deviation of the focal position of a laser beam in reading the information of the disk after the repair and to exactly record and reproduce the information by forming a repair layer according to the machining depth by a repairing agent. SOLUTION: This device has a machining section 1 which is capable of machining the surface of the disk W at the machining depth D meeting the depth of the flaws, a repairing agent coating application section 2 which applies the repairing agent E consisting of a UV curing resin to the surface of the disk to a toric form, a spin coating section 3 which spreads the repairing agent thinly by rotating the disk at a high speed and a UV irradiation section 4 which forms the repair layer meeting the machining depth by irradiating the surface of the disk with UV rays thereby curing the repairing agent.
