PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inductance driving circuit capable of appropriately driving the inductance even in a small current instruction value, and an information storage device, and also an inductance driving method, as to the inductance driving circuit for supplying the current corresponding to the current instruction value in the pulselike state to the inductance for driving it. SOLUTION: In the information storage device for recording and/or reproducing and/or erasing the information with respect to a recording medium by impressing a magnetic field which corresponds to the current based on the current instruction value, the current supplying to a magnetic field impressing part for impressing the magnetic field on the recording medium in accordance with the input current is detected, and the current instruction value is compared with the detected current value, then the impressed magnetic field is controlled by a so-called PWN control method controlling so that the detected current value becomes the current instruction value by making the current supplying to the magnetic field impressing part to be ON/OFF, then such a special feature is provided that the OFF time of the current supplying to the magnetic field impressing part corresponding to the current instruction value is made variable.
