The torsional oscillation damper for especially a clutch disc has a spring element (15) between two discs and with an edge which in its initial position is preloaded in a position directed away from the friction face (30), and with wear of the friction component (14) is designed to hinge towards the position facing the friction face. The spring element has a protrusion which bears against the friction component and/or the side disc (10). The spring element bears upon at least one protrusion on the friction component.
