FIELD: electrical engineering; sealing gas panels. SUBSTANCE: slip used for sealing gas panels is composed of powdered easy-melting glass or cement, binder in the form of solution of nitrocellulose mixed up with isoamyl acetate with propylene glycol or furfural added to them to obtain slightly volatile liquid having boiling point over 150 C which are mixed up with slip components in the amount of 2.0-25.0 mass percent of liquid phase to produce homogeneous mass of 12-25 cP viscosity. Proposed compound has better plasticity and retains slip viscosity for as long period as a few days. EFFECT: enhanced quality of gas panel sealing. 2 ex
